Ask The City – Can the Stop Light at 22nd & Grand Stay Green Longer?

Can we please make the light longer at 22nd and Grand? Good golly, one car gets through and then you're waiting again!

The City's Response:

The traffic signals on Grand Avenue are managed by the Wyoming Department of Transportation as Grand Avenue is a state owned highway.  The  City of Laramie consulted with WYDOT to gather information regarding this issue.  WYDOT electrical technicians have changed the timing of the light so the chances of following vehicles not making it through the intersection should decrease.
