I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and spent most of my time through high school in the state of Texas. Following that I made a big jump and moved to Laramie, Wyoming where I attended the University of Wyoming and received a degree in Marketing. I love the outdoors and often go camping, hiking, climbing and skiing. When I'm not outside I can be found tinkering around and experimenting with electronics. I'm also a huge movie buff with a huge collection that could rival a rental store (Do those still exist?). There are lots of great movies out there but none can beat Tommy Boy in my book; comedy rocks! Fires Rage Near Fort Collins & Guernsey

It is shaping up to be a busy season for those fighting wildfires across the country as expected this year. Just as crews mop up the Cow Camp fire near Wheatland that has burned around 8,500 acres and is now 90% contained, another batch of wildfires have already sprung up. Over the weekend two new fires were sparked, one near Fort Collins, CO and the other in Wyoming's Guernsey State Park.
