Bear Creek Fire At 40 Percent Containment, 1444 Acres
The Bear Creek Fire was estimated at 40 percent containment and 1444 acres,at last report according to Albany County Emergency Management.
That's according to a Sunday afternoon post on the agency's Facebook page.
Preevacaution Order Remains in Effect
The post also says ''The Pre-Evacuation Notice for HWY 34 from Morton Pass on the West boundary to Albany County Road 12 on the East boundary to include all of Albany County Road 12 remains in place.
Please avoid the area and allow crews to work. Updates will be provided as we receive them.''
