The Bear Creek fire is at 2500 acres with zero percent containment at last report.

A pre-evacuation order also remains in effect.

That's according to a Friday morning update from Albany County Emergency Management.

The Agency posted the following on its Facebook page:

The Bear Creek Fire remains at approximately 2500 acres with 0% containment. There are roughly 60 personnel from multiple agencies on scene. We will post updates as we get them, however communications with on-scene personnel will be limited due to a lack of cell and radio coverage in the area.
The Pre-Evacuation area remains the same for HWY 34 from Morton Pass on the West to CR 12 on the East and includes all of CR 12. An updated map of the Pre-Evacuation area is below.
Please avoid the area and allow responders to work.
