Albany County Emergency Management will host an American Red Cross Disaster Action Team [DAT] training on Saturday, April 20th, according to a news release.

The hours of the training are scheduled to run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The event will be held at Laramie Fire Station #3 at 2374 W. Jefferson Street in Laramie. DAT members offer emotional support, financial assistance, and information to help families recover from disaster events. At Saturday's training, people can meet Red Cross volunteers, take part in interactive, hands-on training, learn the basics of disaster response, and learn about Red Cross systems and resources.
