
UPDATE: Firework Making Materials Removed From Laramie Home; Evacuation Order Lifted
Due to the presence of potential explosives at 530 Beaufort St., Albany County Emergency Management is asking all personnel and civilians to evacuate to a minimum distance of 300 meters from the location.
"Please proceed calmly and quickly to the designated evacuation point at the Eppson Center - 1560 N 3rd St, Laramie," EMA said in a 2:49 p.m. Facebook post. "Do not attempt to return to your home or retrieve belongings."

EMA says the estimated time of re-entry is 10 hours.
"Law enforcement and (the Laramie) Fire Department are on scene to assist," EMA said. "Your safety is our highest priority."
EMA Coordinator Kate Allred says there is no roadblock on North 3rd Street (U.S. 30/U.S. 287).
5:21 P.M. UPDATE: Firework Making Materials Located, Evacuation Area Reduced
EMA says emergency responders are working to remove firework making materials that were located inside a home in the Prairies Edge subdivision at 530 Beaufort St. to a safe location.
EMA says residents at spaces 33-35 and 83-95 must remain evacuated, but all other residents may return home.
"Please continue to avoid the evacuation area to allow responders to work," EMA in a 5:21 p.m. Facebook update said.

EMA in a 10:15 p.m. Facebook update said the evacuation order has been lifted.
JULY 3 UPDATE: No Injuries Reported, Incident Remains Under Investigation
Laramie Police Chief Brian Browne in a press release on Thursday said a family member of the recently deceased homeowner was cleaning the property when they discovered the firework making materials.
Browne says no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident, which remains under investigation.
