A little bit of rain never hurt anybody and a little bit of rain certainly did not dampen the spirit of patrons at the first Laramie Local Community Farmers Market.
With kids out of school on summer vacation and weather seemingly getting nicer and nicer, the urge to spend time outside gets stronger everyday. Whether it's spending some time swimming or maybe making a quick escape outside of town, the outside provides a great temptation for many people sitting at work.
The weather outside has still been a little chilly in Laramie over the last few weeks, but it is indeed getting warmer and warmer as Summer approaches. As kids are getting out of school, chances are that they are itching to hit the community pools around Laramie; fortunately they are opening soon according to Laramie's Parks & Recreation department.
Volleyball lovers will have an extra chance to play some organized volleyball this summer in Laramie. Parks & Recreation is starting four different sand leagues playing Monday-Thursday nights at the Undine and Washington Park sand volleyball courts.
