If you are into the arts UW has a lot to offer on that front; it seems like every couple of weeks we get wind of a new gallery or display going up somewhere on campus. A new display goes up from University of Wyoming's Artist-in-Residence, Spencer Bohren, on Monday, October 31st. His work in the exhibition titled, "Petits Mysteres," will be presented in Gallery 234, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Student Union. The exhibition closes on Friday, November 4th.

A reception for Bohren is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 4-6 p.m. This event is totally free and open to the public.
An artist and musician originally from Casper, Bohren now lives in New Orleans, La. He will be on campus for the duration of his art exhibition as part of a week-long residency. During the residency, Bohren will lead workshops on creating shadowbox art similar to that in his gallery exhibition.
Bohren will perform in concert Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m., in the College of Education auditorium following the gallery reception. For more information on the gallery workshops and other events featuring Bohren, visit the Gallery 234 website or call Sarah Brown at (307) 766-6340.
