If you and your little ones have yet to visit Santa Claus, don't fret, Kris Kringle will be in Laramie next Friday with skates on! Skate with Santa will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on December 21st at the Laramie Ice & Events Center.
The Naughty Pines Derby Dames are partnering with UW Lifesavers Initiative for their final bout of the season against the Boulder County Bombers. The Naughty Pines head into the bout with a 2-1 record. Not only will fans get to see a dame make her debut on the roster, all ticket holders will also get into The Library after party for free.

The Laramie Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is hosting their 22nd Annual Banquet at the Laramie Ice and Event Center on June 2. The RMEF says there are six million reasons to attend the fundraiser for the conservation organization, as they'll be celebrating the six millionth acre conserved.

As you may have heard by now, roller derby is the fastest growing women’s sport in the U.S. Since the early 2000’s, roller derby has been revived in states all over the country and Wyoming is no exception. Laramie’s Naughty Pines Derby Dames was the first league to establish itself in Wyoming back in 2009 and, since then, teams have followed their lead in Casper, Cheyenne and Gillette as well.
If you are not familiar with the Naughty Pines Derby Dames, then you are missing out! The exclusively female roller derby team in Laramie was resurrected in 2009 and will be entering their 4th season this summer. This group of around 40 strong women from all walks of life including students, mothers, teachers, nurses, and more are looking for new recruits as the season begins to gear up.
Now that we are within a week of Christmas, kids around Laramie have to be getting excited for Santa and his reindeer to make the rounds through town. However right before Christmas on Friday, December 23rd, Santa will be making an appearance at the Laramie Ice & Events Center for skating with Santa.
