Question:

Why is the overlay on the streets so high that during the winter if you park close to the curb, there is a great chance of getting stuck? Why is the overlay on the streets not taken down before the streets are refinished?

Answer:

"Most of the areas where this was an issue had been done before the milling process was used. It is the city's current practice to mill the edges when an overlay is completed to alleviate the issue."

Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “Why are there so many potholes on Grand Avenue?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”

Please note that the City of Laramie will answer as many questions as possible at their discretion.
