The Downtown Farmers Market is a summer time favorite of many in Laramie, and this Friday there will be a special booth at the event. In addition to all the normal vendors, the 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer’s will have their own booth to register to walk in their event at 5:00 p.m. the same day.
This summer along with some of the changes we reported on earlier, the Laramie Farmers Market downtown will also be adding some new vendors to their list of regular attendees. As normal a bulk of the products being sold at the market will again be very local; of the businesses signed up so far,16 are from Laramie area including Centennial, Fox Park, Cheyenne and Granite Canyon.

This Friday will be the last Farmers Market and it will be held on First Street in front of Medicine Bow Foods. The Market will be held at the same time from 3:00-7:00 pm. A lot of the same vendors will be their so take advantage of the continuing nice weather and get your produce, bread, salsa, etc for one more week. Then the market moves indoors to the Laramie Plains Civic Center see info below!
Jim and Sue Waggoner have been providing high quality meat to Wyoming residents since the early 80s. Both grew up caring for livestock and wanted the same character building experience for their children. When friends and neighbors started asking to purchase meat, it was a natural transition for the Waggoners to make a lifestyle into a family business.
