Celebrities no matter if they are actors, comedians or music artists are notoriously hard to book, no matter the Venue. So the question must be asked, how did a student organization at the University of Wyoming, reel in one of the hottest stand up comedians...

Rolling Stone’s “Funniest Man Under 30” is coming to the University of Wyoming on Saturday, Oct. 26.

A Comedy show is coming to the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

If you are in need of something to do this coming weekend, look no further; UW is bringing performers to campus from Comedy Central for a FREE night of laughs that is open to UW students as well as the general public. The show gets started Friday, April 13th, at 9PM in the Wyoming Union Ballroom and will feature three performers from Comedy Central.

What started as making comical videos for their friends and family has become a nation-wide pheromone. And it is coming to UW. Barats and Bereta, a comedy duo who has solidified their fame via YouTube, are going to be performing a free, sketch comedy show at 8pm this Wednesday in the Union Ballroom.

We all know them—the annoying, and sometimes dangerous, drivers that populate our interstates, highways, and city streets (and since this is Wyoming, I supposed I should include gravel roads). We are all aggravated by them, but we also must admit that at times, we are also one of them (I definitely guilty of #4: the inexperienced snow driver).

A new form of nightlife is springing up in Laramie: comedy. Seven University of Wyoming students have banned together to form an improv comedy group that offers free performances open to the public.

The comedy group that began careers for such celebrities as Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Chris Farley, Dan Akroyd, Peter Boyle and Alan Arkin will be in Laramie next week.

If you happen to be a fan of comedy like me, then there will be some great performances over the next few weeks featuring comedians in Laramie. The first is a touring troupe from the Second City Improv Company and the other is Laramie Laughs; more on that coming soon.
