Washington Park Tree Pruning

Due to public safety concerns regarding a cottonwood tree at Washington Park, north of the Edgar J. Lewis Bandshell, the City Arborist has hired a contractor to prune the tree on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, beginning at 7:30 AM.

Work should take about two hours. Staff requests that visitors to the park be aware of the work and give the contractor space to prune the tree safely. For information please contact Randy Overstreet, Laramie City Arborist at 721-5338 or roverstreet@cityoflaramie.org
