University of Wyoming Hosting 18th Annual “Gala 2011: Fiesta!”

The time has come for the University of Wyoming's Gala Benefit Ball! This marks the 18th year that UW has held the annual event. The 18th annual "Gala 2011: Fiesta!" will be held this Saturday, November 5th at 6pm in the Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. This is a great opportunity to show your support while enjoying a wonderful evening full of great people, food and excellent music!

The annual fundraiser provides funds for the UW Art Museums, exhibitions and collections as well as funding for education and outreach programs. The art museum's outreach programs makes it possible to bring in nationally renowned and culturally significant works to Wyoming.

The 18th annual "Gala 2011: Fiesta!" will include both a silent and live auction. Two raffles will also take place; one for a diamond necklace and one for a $1,000 Visa card.  In regards to the raffles the winners will be announced that evening but the winners do not have to be present to win. Gourmet food will be offered and live music will be provided by the full Basmati band!

To attend the Gala fundraiser one must purchase a ticket. The cost is $175 and couples tickets are also available.
