Wednesday, Sept. 3, 5-7 p.m. -- UW President Dick McGinity welcome barbecue for students, Prexy’s Pasture. Free.
Wednesday, Sept. 3 -- “Real Women, Real Bodies” exhibition runs through Sept. 11, Gallery 234 in the Wyoming Union lower level. Free.
Thursday, Sept. 4, 5 p.m. -- Vertical dance performance with live music by Lights Along the Shore, UW Berry Center. Free.
Friday, Sept. 5, noon -- Cowgirl Classic volleyball, UW vs. South Alabama, and at 7 p.m. vs. Weber State, Uniwyo Sports Complex. $8 adults, $5 youths under 18.
Friday, Sept. 5, 12:15 p.m. -- A construction “topping-off” ceremony at the Michael B. Enzi STEM Facility north of Lewis Street between 10th and 11th streets. Free.
Friday, Sept 5, 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever presents the film “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.
Friday, Sept 5, 9 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever hosts Casino Night Friday, Wyoming Union lower level. Free to UW students with ID.
Saturday, Sept. 6, noon -- Cowgirl Classic volleyball, UW vs. Montana, Uniwyo Sports Complex. $8 adults, $5 youths under 18.
Saturday, Sept. 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m. -- Wyoming alumni tailgate party, lot east of the Indoor Practice Facility and west of 22nd Street. Free.
Saturday, Sept. 6, 8:15 p.m. -- The Cowboys open the conference football season against the Air Force Academy in War Memorial Stadium. $45 adults, $22 youths under 18.
A variety of exhibitions can be seen at the UW Art Museum, located in the Centennial Complex, 2111 Willet Drive. The museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays. Free.
