Tips Preparing For Severe Winter Weather
With most of Central and Eastern Wyoming bracing for autumnal winter storms, the National Weather Service is advising citizens to be prepared when it comes to severe cold and snow.
Mike Weiland meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says that, while travel isn't advised during major winter storms, if a person has to travel it's best to check your travel route with the Wyoming Department of Transportation. You can get travel reports at our website or by dialing 5-1-1 from any phone in-state.
Further, Weiland says that having certain items in your car as you travel is a good idea as well.
