Laramie Jubilee Days 2024 is looking for volunteers for its 2024 event, according to event organizers.

This year's celebration is slated to run from July 6-14, featuring great family fun, great music, and nightlife and a celebration of the West that we all love. But help is needed!

Anyone who could help out is asked to contact the volunteer chair, Kim Puls at volunteers@laramiejubileedays.org.

Volunteers are also needed to help hang banners on the morning of July 10. Anyone who can lend a hand with that is being asked to contact Robin Riegel at sponsorship@laramiejubileedays.org.

Highlights of Jubilee Days 2024

Among the highlights of this year's Jubilee Days is The Joe Dowler Memorial Mr. T Xtreme Bull Riding Calcutta will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.  It will be held at Bud's Bar and this event is free. Bet on a cowboy and if he wins, you win.

Of course, Jubilee Days wouldn't be the same without the heart-pounding excitement of the Jubilee Days Rodeo! You can find out more about this year's rodeo action here!

This year's parade is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 at 9:30 a.m. Typically, you will see 85+ entries roll down the street, often delivering candy and other goodies to the people lining the street. Remember to bring bags to collect all the goodies handed out by the floats. Marching bands, fire trucks, and lots and lots of businesses and organizations are slated to participate.

Everyone loves a carnival, and it's one of the annual highlights of Jubilee Days. According to the event website:

The carnival is a beloved highlight of Laramie Jubilee Days, adored by kids of all ages. This popular attraction brings joy and excitement, eagerly anticipated throughout the year. Families eagerly await the chance to indulge in the vibrant atmosphere, with the thrilling rides, fun games, and delicious carnival treats creating unforgettable memories. The laughter of children, the bright lights, and the lively music all contribute to an exhilarating experience that captures the spirit of Jubilee Days.

Historic Wyoming Hotels

Wyoming's once wild west also incorporated a little luxury. Several fine hotels dotted the state, along trade routes and railroad lines. They have rich histories, and of course, ghost legends.
