Plans to develop the Cirrus Sky Technology Park in Laramie have received a significant boost with the signing of an agreement by the University of Wyoming to buy a portion of the proposed development.

Kids of all ages are invited to put on a costume and head to downtown Laramie for tricks or treats during Scaramie on Saturday, October 27th from 10 a.m. to noon. Over 3,000 people celebrated Halloween with Scaramie last year according to the Laramie Main Street Alliance and they're hoping for another good turnout.

The hunting season in Wyoming has gone from bow to gun. While many hunters enjoy both types of hunting, some find more of a thrill using a bow and arrow and others enjoy utilizing a rifle more. Which type of hunting do you prefer?

Ghost Tours of Laramie City is yet again preparing to scare the pants off people who have enough guts to brave the allegedly haunted Wyoming Territorial Prison after dark. This year they are presenting their ghost tour “Terror Behind Stone Walls”.

The Albany County Public Library will begin hosting a series of classes called “Dollar’s and $ense” to help people in managing their money and planning for life expenses. A total of eight classes will be taught in the coming months.

The University of Wyoming Art Museum will open its doors for free on Saturday, Sept. 29, while participating in a nationwide event. Museum Day Live! is an annual event sponsored by Smithsonian magazine. Museums across the country and the state will open their doors for free for those who have tickets to the event.

The Garfield Street Footbridge will be closed to the public on weekdays for construction and painting services from Monday, September 24th to December 1st. The footbridge will be closed Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 am to 6:00 pm while work is conducted.
