Flooding has yet again caused more trouble, this time for the state’s official microbrew competition held in Saratoga. The Steinley Cup is Wyoming’s official microbrew competition and this year it will be held in an alternate location.

The annual competition is normally held at Veterans Island Park but due to continued high water and flooding issues part of the island is still under water. For safety reasons Organizers of the competition have decided to move this years event to Kathy Glode Park.

Steinley Cup organizers are uncertain of damages to the island but agree that safety comes first. All necessary equipment needed for the competition will be transported to Kathy Glode Park. The 16th Annual Steinley Cup begins August 20th.
