University of Wyoming release:

A variety of breakfast and lunch options, along with a full-service coffee bar, will be among the choices when the completely renovated former Ross Hall Dining Room reopens as Rendezvous Monday, Jan. 6.

Once open, it will operate Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Rendezvous will feature a variety of culinary options served from several dining stations. “Calienté Grill” will serve burritos, street tacos and other Mexican fare. “Nellie’s Deli” will feature made-to-order sub sandwiches. “Sizzling Salads” will offer made-to-order salads topped with grilled meats. “7220 Coffee Co” will be a full-service coffee bar.

“This all-new dining experience is something that the entire campus community is really going to like,” says UW Dining Services Director Eric Webb.

“The offerings at Rendezvous are specifically designed in response to campus dining customer feedback we’ve received in recent years,” Webb says. “Customers have consistently asked for Mexican and sub sandwich options, and our Ross Hall customers have always enjoyed the salad options there.”

He says the renovation has increased the seating capacity while also improving the atmosphere.

“The view of Prexy’s Pasture through the big windows has always been a great feature of the space, and the renovation really takes advantage of that,” Webb says.
