Join Leadership Laramie for an Enchanted Garden Soiree

Join Leadership Laramie tomorrow, Saturday, April 13, for an evening of local cuisine, putt-putt golf, and family-friendly fun. The event raises funds for the Downtown Clinic's back garden project, which seeks to turn the Garden into a more community-oriented space. Projects include sunshades "to expand clinical space for counseling and social work appointments in the Downtown Clinic gardens during warm months and the installation of accessible walking surfaces for all individuals."

Expect a night full of fun, featuring:

  • Silent Auction & Fun Activities: 50-50 drawing, auction items, mini-golf, and more.
  • Local Food Trucks: Sample eats from a diverse food truck lineup.
  • Specialty Brews: Bonds Brewing has created a beer just for the event.
  • Garden Attire: Wear garden-themed attire!
  • Family-Friendly Fun: Kids are welcome to the event.

About the Downtown Clinic

For over 24 years, the Downtown Clinic has provided primary specialty care, mental health, social work, and other health-related services to the uninsured community in Laramie. The Clinic is free to Albany County residents and anyone experiencing homelessness. In recent years, the Clinic has cared for almost 400 people annually. According to a press release about the Garden Soiree, "The Clinic's Healing Garden has helped to build those relationships as it is a space that welcomes clients, volunteers, and community supporters and, hopefully, brings joy and serenity to an appointment, a visit, or a celebration. The Garden also serves to augment the Clinic's fresh food and flower program; at the Clinic, food and flowers are medicine!"
