Leash Law-Ask the City

Question:

Why doesn't the city enforce the leash law? I'm afraid to take my own dogs for walks on their leashes because someone else's off leash dog will inevitably run up to them and scare them. Whether the owners think their dog is friendly or not, this can be unsafe.

Answer:

"The Animal Control Division of the Laramie Police Department enforce the leash law as staffing allows. If you encounter dogs that are not on a leash, please call 307-721-2526. An animal control or police officer will be sent to deal with the situation."

Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “How can I get a city parking permit?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”
