The Laramie Police Department is trying to track down a dog after a Laramie resident reported being bitten last week.
Officers with animal control took a report of Friday, Feb. 17 that a person had been bitten at about 3 p.m. The victim said the bite happened in the 2200 block of Spring Creek in the area of the alley entrance, according to the LPD.
The victim described the dog as being black with a white patch on its chest and being about the size of a large Labrador. The dog has a short coat and full tail and was wearing a red collar with at least two or three tags.
Police are asking people who might have information on the whereabouts of the dog to call Animal Control at 721-5385 or the non-emergency dispatch line at 721-2526.
