Dog Bite

Animal Control is looking for a dog who recently bit a resident.

On October 5 at around 2:00 pm, a woman was bitten by a medium-sized mixed-breed dog with black, brown, and white fur in the 1900 block of VanBuren Street. The dog was unleashed, appeared uncollared and no owners seemed to be in the area...

On the evening of October 10, a man reported being bitten by a medium to a large black dog on the stairs of the Motel 6 on East Plaza Lane. The man also reported that there was a man accompanying the dog and that he was a male in his mid to late 20s and wearing glasses...

Last Thursday, May 16, at around 9:30 pm, a dog bit a skateboarder near the intersection of 9th and Ivinson Sts. in Laramie.

Animal Control would like to locate the dog for rabies monitoring purposes.

The victim said the bite happened in the 2200 block of Spring Creek in the area of the alley entrance on Friday, according to the LPD.

Laramie Police Lieutenant Gwen Smith said the Laramie Police hopes the owner of the dog will contact Laramie Animal Control Unit.

The dog is described as a jet black, large, muscular Pit Bull. The dog was wearing a collar with tags.

The Laramie Police Department is asking for help from the community in locating a dog which bit a woman on May 23.
