
Laramie Man Arrested on Strangulation Charge
Laramie police arrested a local man Saturday night after he allegedly strangled someone he lived with.
Jacob Borzea, 29, was taken into custody after police received a report of ongoing domestic disputes at 9:20 p.m. Saturday.
According to a Laramie Police Department press release, the disputes took place in the 700 block of Ivinson and the victim was reportedly placed in a choke hold.
According to the LPD news release, Borzea was arrested and charged with one count of strangulation of a household member. If convicted on the felony charge, Borzea could be sentenced to a prison term of not more than five years.
