The Question:

What are the demographics of Laramie in the summer when students don't have school? Since Laramie is made up largely of college students what does the population become in the summer months when a lot of them go back to there hometowns?

The Answer:
“For certain, the population of Laramie in the summer is different that during the general school term and is likely reduced. It is difficult to determine the number of students that may stay in Laramie for the summer as well as the number of University of Wyoming staff that may leave for the summer. While the 2010 census count was 30,816, there is no assurance that each person was counted. As an estimate, the population in the summer may likely be 25,000.”
