Free Legal Information Being Offered by UW Law Students

The Albany County Bar Association and Wyoming Law Students are holding a Pro-Bono Night in Laramie. There will be free 20-minute information consultations with licensed attorneys on Tuesday, Oct. 18th at the UW Annex from 5-8 p.m.

The attorneys will meet with individuals (including students) to provide information regarding the legal process and may answer general legal questions. Potential topics include, but are not limited to divorce, custody, child support, bankruptcy, civil rights, employmnet, landlord/tenant, real property, and insurance.

Walk-in appointments are welcomed, but are on a first come basis. Set up an appointment by calling (307)359-2189 or sending an email to scase@uwyo.edu. The UW Annex is located at 406 S. 21st Street.

Participants will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging that participation is in no way intended to create an ongoing attorney-client relationship and there is no expectation that the attorney's representation will continue beyond the initial limited consultation.
