The Fine Arts Building at the University of Wyoming  is being put to good use this week as UW has hosted and is hosting a handful of performances this week. Laramie residents have a unique opportunity to attend concerts, plays, and other performances that are offered through the university and this week offers several chances to get out of the house. Adding to the list of performances and events this week is the Capitol Saxophone Quartet! They will be performing at 7:30pm tomorrow night (Wednesday) at the Fine Arts concert hall!

On Wednesday the acclaimed Capitol Saxophone Quartet will teach a master class at 4:30pm in room 132 of the Fine Arts Building. Then at 7:30 they will perform. The quartet is known as one of the most exciting chamber ensembles. The Capitol Saxophone Quartet consists of course of four members and was formed in 1991.  They are widely known for their musical versatility and innovative style. They devote their time, efforts and performances to further music education. The Capitol Saxophone Quartet lectures and perform regularly at local and national levels and have taught numerous master classes at several universities.

Come and enjoy an exciting performance by the Capitol Saxophone Quartet tomorrow night (Wednesday) at the Fine Arts concert hall. Ticket prices are $7 for the public and $5 for students and seniors. The evenings program is sponsored by the UW Department of Music, Wyoming Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
