Bill Nye Avenue New Construction Set For Spring 2015

The City of Laramie and WYDOT have announced construction plans for Bill Nye Avenue in Laramie.

The addition will begin in the spring of 2015 and includes 0.67 miles of new roadway on Laramie's east side.  The street will have access to the new high school.

Construction will tie into the intersection of Vista Drive and Bluebird Lane and will extend west, tying into Boulder Drive.

The project includes waterline work, storm drains, curb and gutter work with modern ADA access, a bike path, and a center median island.

A meeting is set to discuss this project March 13 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Garden Room 1 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event is a drop-in style and you may attend at any point in the two hour time frame.
