Ask The City: Grand and 1st Parking Lot

The Question:

Why is it that the parking lot at grand and first Street doesn't have any lines on it? It is a ridiculous free-for-all.

The Answer:

“The parking lot at First Street and Grand Avenue is privately owned. The City has been involved in a multi-year discussion with the property owner as to solutions for making the lot functional, as well as meeting code requirements. Those discussions are ongoing.”
