162 members of the Wyoming Army National Guard's 133rd Engineer Company took to the floor in formation at UW's Arena Auditorium Thursday, as a crowd of well-wishers in the stands cheered them on.
Wyoming Game and Fish recently distributed posters in Laramie with graphic images from two poaching incidents accompanied by information about the penalties in each case. Both incidents on the poster involved WyoTech students.
WyoTech-Laramie selected Lionel Reese as the school’s 2012 campus Dream Award winner. He is a recent graduate from the automotive technician program with an emphasis on applied service management. The award recognizes graduates who have overcome extraordinary obstacles to complete their post-secondary education and find success in their chosen fields.
WyoTech's 12th annual car show is set to take place on Saturday, May 19th from 9AM to 2PM. We were told by organizers that they are expecting over 300 cars, hot rods and motorcycles for this year's event, which will take place at the school's Street Rod Shop in West Laramie located at 1889 Venture Drive. There is no entry fee or form and WyoTech explained that the show is open to all cars, trucks and motorcycles if you want to show off your well oiled machine.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Laramie campus of WyoTech has been named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).
