WyoTech's 12th annual car show is set to take place on Saturday, May 19th from 9AM to 2PM. We were told by organizers that they are expecting over 300 cars, hot rods and motorcycles for this year's event, which will take place at the school's Street Rod Shop in West Laramie, located at 1889 Venture Drive.

There is no entry fee or form required for participants and WyoTech explained that the show is open to all cars, trucks and motorcycles if you want to show off your well oiled machine.

The car show is also free and open to the public, making it a great way to fill part of a Saturday without spending a fortune. However proceeds from the food sold at the show will go to support WyoTech's Student Activities Council and food pantry, so you can help show your appreciation by grabbing a bite to eat while at the show. Additionally there will be prizes awarded for different categories of vehicles entered in the the event and raffles for those just attending as well!

One other feature at the show will be the WyoChopper. In September of last year, this custom WyoTech themed bike was first revealed on the Discovery Channel’s “American Chopper: Junior vs. Senior.” Several of the school's students collaborated on the design of the bike and were able to fly out to help in the bikes build as well. The bike is expected to arrive in Laramie at the middle of this next week for display at the show, and there will also be autographed photos of the chopper available while supplies last.

For those not familiar with the school, tours of WyoTech will be given on the day of the car show if you would like to learn more about the campus and exactly what the technical school provides.

All National Street Rod Association (NSRA) members and representatives are welcome to help celebrate NSRA Appreciation Day, which will include NSRA Safety Inspections. These inspections provide every owner the opportunity to have his or her vehicle safety inspected for free.
