Memorial Run

Just over eleven years ago, eight University of Wyoming cross country student athletes were killed in a collision with a drunk driver. The annual “Always A Cowboy” 8k run and 5k walk will honor their memory on Saturday, September 22 in Laramie.

The Adam Towler Memorial 5K and 10K races took place on Saturday, July 16. Over 150 people ran or walked in honor of Adam Towler who tragically lost his life in Laramie in 2006. Adam donated much of his time to charity and church activities, and all race proceeds benefited organizations and causes that were special to Adam: St. Laurence O’Toole Elementary School, the Heart-to-Heart Pregnancy Cente

The Katelyn Stinnett Story - On December 3, 2008, 2 year old Katelynn Stinnett died of injuries she sustained when she was sexually abused by her 18 year old baby sitter.
