Construction of a hospitality house for family members of Ivinson Memorial Hospital (IMH) patients is underway. The IMH Foundation reports that 26.4 percent of IMH patients came from outside Albany County in 2009 and 818 of the total 2103 patients that were discharged from IMH were from other communities. The Foundation Guest House will provide home-away-from-home accomodations out-of-town familie

Ivinson Memorial Hospital, in conjunction with the Love Hope Strength Foundation, is holding a bone marrow drive to build the international bone marrow donor list. Assistant Marketing Director Jaime Stine says the drive will be held at the Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center on Wednesday, June 15 from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The Albany County Attorney's Office and the Albany County Department of Family Service want the public to know that measures have been taken to ensure the babies safety and want to clarify the situation regarding the status of the baby, it's health, and the future.
