On Thursday, Jan.4 we are going to poll our listeners and readers on who they believe the Laramie "Person of the Year" for 2023 should be.

We are looking for the person who did the most to make Laramie a better place to live in 2023. You can nominate someone below.

On Thursday we'll take those getting the most nominating votes, and include them in an online poll so you can tell us who the Townsquare Media 2023  Laramie "Person of the Year' should be.

It might be someone in the public spotlight, but it might also be someone who works behind the scenes. Maybe even someone who doesn't get a lot of recognition on a day-to-day basis.

For example, folks who lead local charities or who organize drives for toys or school supplies for local kids. Those who work to feed hungry people, help those in need or organize fundraising events.

We'll sort of let you decide the criteria so long as they are making our community a better or safer place. We aren't so much looking for one-time "heroes" as much as those who are always working to make Laramie a better place.

Nominate Someone Here

So we are asking for your nominations, along with a brief explanation of why you think the person deserves the recognition. Then check back on Thursday to cast your vote!

Historic Wyoming Hotels

Wyoming's once wild west also incorporated a little luxury. Several fine hotels dotted the state, along trade routes and railroad lines. They have rich histories, and of course, ghost legends.
