Both Laramie Jubilee Days and Cheyenne Frontier Days will be headed our way before we know it, but if you are itching to see a little rodeo action before then, you might want to take a quick trip down to Loveland, Colorado this May. Championship Bull Riding takes over the Budweiser Events Center on Saturday, May 12th at 8PM as they are "On the Road to Cheyenne" where the CBR World Championships are held.

Tickets to the event rage anywhere from $15 a seat for general admission to $60 a seat and you can buy tickets online in advance. As mentioned above, the Loveland event is the last stop along the way as the CBR heads to "The Daddy of em' All,"  Cheyenne Frontier Days. The event is a big deal for participating bull riders from the US, Mexico, and Brazil, who will compete in the Carl's JR. Championship Bull Riding. The Championship Bull Riding in Loveland will determine which cowboys will be invited to compete for the $100,000 prize awarded at the World Championships in Cheyenne. You can be sure that because of this, all of the participants will be putting in a little added effort in this rodeo.

While Loveland is a little ways from Laramie, it only takes about an hour and a half to drive down for a fun night of entertainment that everyone in the family can enjoy. If you are looking for other things to do this summer, make sure to check out our other "Quick Trips" as well.
