As a response to the World Health Organization regarding the coronavirus, the United Way of Albany County has decided to allocate micro-grants to local nonprofits to combat the spread of the virus.

The grants total up to $300 per agency and must go towards preventing the spread of the virus. The grant is open to any nonprofit in Albany County and is available until finds of $2500 are gone.

If you have any questions regarding the outbreak, call 2-1-1 or follow the link here.

Applications for the micro-grant can be obtained by contacting United Way of Albany County’s executive director, Paul Heimer, at pheimer@unitedwayalbanycounty.org or 307-745-8643.
