After the successful Downtown Restaurant Payroll Grant in December 2020, Laramie Main Street is partnering with United Way of Albany County again to provide a second round of grant funds. After closing the program in March due to COVID-19, United Way of Albany County is happy to bring the program back

The United Way of Albany County has recently hired Evelyn Edson as Executive Director to replace Paul Heimer, who is retiring the end of May.

United Way of Albany County has decided to allocate micro-grants to local nonprofits to combat the spread of the virus.

The organization says it is the largest source of non-governmental funding for all seventeen member agencies around Laramie.
