The Fabric Of Our Community

This past week jerri Iverson submitted the following story to our website and the neat thing about it is that it really demonstrates the essence of Laramie Live. Everyone plays a different part in our town but as a whole we form Laramie, Wyoming. Laramie Live's goal is to unit those pieces and show all that Laramie has to offer.

What is so special about Laramie? Laramie is a composite of people, places, and things that are woven together to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind tapestry. Each aspect of this community, in it's own unique way, adds color and texture to the final quilt that we cover ourselves with for warmth and comfort. Have you contributed to the fabric of the community? If you are involved in any of the clubs/organizations, schools, churches, businesses, or just plain live in Laramie you have a special place in the make-up of that quilt. Look around, talk to people who you see regularly, talk to those you don't know. This is your town - this is your quilt.
