If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably seen recent commercials advertising free pizza from Papa John’s if the Superbowl XLVI is “called” correctly by America and thought, what is this bogus hoax?

Once a year, everyone pulls out their favorite Super Bowl recipes. Super Bowl recipes, like those for other important holidays, are critical. At Christmas, you may be crammed in a room with all of your least favorite in-laws and cousins, but at least you can enjoy the food. Likewise, even if your team loses the Super Bowl, you can bury your sorrows in some comfort food.

If you always go to the same bar, at the same time, and order the same drink, you might not be getting thirsty, but your wallet will be. Tonight treat your wallet to some of these great drink specials.

Over the past few months we have been covering the City Council meetingsas they have been trying to figure out if they will issue the new liquor licences allotted to the city by the 2010 Census. The council's meeting a few weeks ago was particularilly interesting and frustrating for some people, especially those already established or new businesses who have been waiting to see whether or not they will receive one of the new licenses.

Food is not fast. Nor is it standardized, microwaved or pre-determined. Such is the education given by my first visit to El Tamal when I sampled a meal that felt more of a journey across flavors and tastes and less an assembly of meats, grains and vegetables.

I tried my first wing as a sophomore in college at Applebee’s. At first I was skeptical, considering I didn’t like the idea of pulling meat off the bones of the animal I was consuming. Wisely, my friends first introduced me to boneless wings. I was hooked.

Society used to define a hole-in-the-wall restaurant by its level of curbside appeal (or more like lack of). However, in today’s modern, technological society, a better definition of hole-in-the-wall is not only a restaurant's outward appearance, but its ability to be found by Google. The following Laramie restaurants (with the exception of Little Caesars), are so hole-in-the-wall that they do not have their own websites.
