Percussion Duo To Perform At UW

Ohio State University percussionists Pendulum Duo will perform Thursday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) concert hall. The UW Department of Music sponsors the free public concert.

The program features Casper native Susan Powell and her husband, Joe Krygier, both of whom are percussion professors at Ohio State University. Powell and Krygier are world-class performers and composers who will feature some of their original compositions during the concert, says Steve Barnhart, professor in the UW Department of Music.

Their performance will be followed by a clinic Friday, Feb. 28, from 2-3 p.m. in Room 132 of the BCPA. The clinic also is free and open to the public.
