The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning motorists on Interstate 80 to be ready for poor visibility this morning [May 4].

The agency posted this statement:

Please watch for reduced visibilities along Interstate 80 in Southeast Wyoming this morning. Expect locally dense freezing fog along with slick roads in spots. Visibilities in dense freezing fog will be one-quarter mile or less.
