Music in the Park-Ask the City

In Rawlins, they have a great "Music in the Park" series with live bands, food trucks, and drinking allowed in their city park on Thursday evenings. Why does Laramie not have something similar?

"With other options in Laramie for live music, a program of this nature has not been part of the city's recreation programming. There are weekly Laramie Community Band performances in Washington Park. The city is always open to consideration of new programming events fitting within available budget when interest is expressed by the community. Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “How can I get a city parking permit?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”
