Links To Albany County, Statewide Primary Election Results
August 20, 2024 is Primary Election Day in Wyoming.
In many cases, alhtough by no means all, Wyoming primary elections decide who will take office in 2024. That is because in many races, only one party fields candidates.
Voters went to the polls today from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m, Others of course voted early or by absentee ballots. Absentee ballots had to be submitted to the county clerk by 7 p.m. today to be eligible ot be counted.
State And Local Offices On Today's Primary Election Ballot
Statewide offices on the ballot today include the Wyoming U.S. Senate seat currently held by John Barrasso and Wyoming's lone congressional seat, held by Harriet Hageman.
Both Barasso and Hageman are Republicans.
Albany county offices on the primary ballot include several legislative seats as well as the Albany County Commission, several Laramie City Council seats and numerous precinct men and women.
