The Albany County Public Library was vandalized over the weekend forcing the library to close down for the day and reschedule the final day of the Friends of the Library Book Sale.

The vandalism happened between 6:00 p.m. Friday night and 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The glass front door and one window were busted out.

The Laramie Police Department sent out a news release saying the case is under investigation. Lt. Gwen Smith of the Laramie Police Department declined to comment.
