Laramie Main Street Alliance, Mural Project Receive National Honor

The Laramie Main Street Alliance announced on its Facebook page Wednesday that the LMSA and the Laramie Mural Project received the Innovation Award from Main Street America at the 2016 Main Street Now Conference in Milwaukee, Wis.

The conference is a national gathering that brings about 2,000 professionals, boards, municipal staff and other local decision makers together to address challenges facing downtowns and commercial districts in the 21st century.

The Laramie Main Street Alliance "strives to preserve historic Downtown Laramie while enhancing its economic and social vitality," according to the organization's mission statement.
