"Fish Creek Fire near Tie Siding prompts evacuation orders

The Albany County Sheriff's Office says an evacuation in the Fish Creek Ranch area is at 25-30 acres.

The Watch Duty fire website earlier this morning had said the fire was at 100 acres. That post has now been revised to say 30 acres.

Power Being Restored, Evacuarion Order In Effect

The post from the Sheriff's Office says power is being restored to all customers, and the GO! Evacuation Order is still in effect. That order is for an area of about a two-mile radius around Fish Creek Ranch and the Cherokee Park area.

The office says The evacuation center at the Albany County Fairgrounds closed last night. If you are within the evacuation area and need shelter or other assistance, please contact:

People are also being asked to avoid the area for now.

The post goes on to say:

'We know this has been a stressful and uncertain time for those affected. We appreciate everyone's patience, cooperation, and support as firefighters and first responders.' continue working to protect lives and property"
