At this time of year basketball can dominate the headlines for any number of reasons. When it goes to help out a great cause, that's when the highlights really start. The Rotary Club of Laramie is proud to announce a match-up between the Harlem Ambassadors and the Gem City Travelers in a volunteer fundraising basketball event March 25th at the Laramie Plains Civic Center south gymnasium. All the fun is set to start at 7 p.m. Monday.

The Harlem Ambassadors are a co-ed basketball team out of Ft. Collins, CO that assist in helping host organizations fund-raise for their respective causes.

The Gem City Travelers are the host team put together by Laramie Rotary that feature members of the club as well as local business professionals and volunteers who support Rotary’s causes. All proceeds generated from the event go to support Rotary’s local, state, national and global projects. A few of the local examples include scholarships and shelter boxes.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids age 5-12, while those under 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door Monday night.
