Greenhill Cemetery Main Gate Closed

The City of Laramie will be closing the main entrance gate to Greenhill Cemetery located at 15th and Lewis, beginning on Wednesday morning October 15th.

Construction crews will be installing a large vault and steam lines in this area as part of the East Campus improvement project on the UW campus. Access to the Greenhill Cemetery and the Cemetery Sexton’s office will be available through the maintenance access gate located at 15th and Bradley.

The city asks for people to use caution when traveling within the cemetery as construction work will progress through the entire length of the main road as the installation continues.

No completion date for the project is set at this time.
