‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Shooting Later This Year, Says Charlie Cox
Just as Jessica Jones Season 2 is finally heading before cameras, so too is Daredevil ready to move on from The Defenders. Season 3 production of Netflix’s Man Without Fear is said to begin later this year, Charlie Cox reveals.
Now that The Defenders has officially booked an August 18 premiere date, Cox told Boogaloo Radio’s Film and Telly Stuff With Luke & Al that Daredevil Season 3 will indeed start shooting later this year, for a presumable 2018 debut. Either way, that places Season 3 later in the year than Daredevil usually premieres, likely giving Jessica Jones Season 2 the spring slot.
Elsewhere, relatively little is known of Daredevil Season 3, other than Cox’s own interest in seeing both Bullseye and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin back in action. By the looks of the Defenders teaser, Matt Murdock is keeping out of costume for the moment, but expected to learn some valuable lessons in teamwork for Season 3.
We’ll see what potential teases The Defenders brings in August, but what other Daredevil details might we sense before Season 3 begins production this year? Stay tuned.
